PVF Procurement Specialist

Worth & Company, Inc. is seeking a full-time Procurement Specialist with a strong background in the Mechanical Construction industry.  As a Procurement Specialist, you must be knowledgeable in the procurement process for HVAC and plumbing components.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble quotes from various vendors when a project comes in
• Negotiate and compare prices to minimize material costs
• Generate purchase orders and issue to vendors
• Work directly with Project Manager to coordinate and help minimize material orders to the job site
• Assist the Purchasing Department with incoming orders from the manufacturing shops and field for tools, job trailers and miscellaneous materials
• Work with material and building zone releases from CAD drawings to ensure materials are delivered complete and on time

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in a previous role, within the Mechanical Construction industry
• Strong knowledge of the procurement process for HVAC and plumbing   
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Team player with a jump-in-the-ditch mentality
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to doing things right the first time
