Assistant Project Manager – Industrial Construction, Berks/Lehigh County area

Worth & Company, Inc. is seeking a highly-motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in supervising the day-to-day operations of designated INDUSTRIAL construction projects in the Berks/Lehigh County areas. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to ensure project goals are achieved in a timely manner and within budget.

APM Responsibilities Include:

Assist in project pricing, budgeting, estimating, and scheduling

Collaborate with Project Manager to ensure the installation of HVAC/plumbing systems meet proper code and project requirements

Attend operational/departmental meetings, as required

Assist Project Manager in preparations of vendor and subcontractor purchase orders, submittals, drawings, etc.

Maintain a safe and secure work environment by coordinating safety meetings and incident reports

Assist with estimating change orders, project documentation, project close out and commissioning requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 5 years’ HVAC/plumbing experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Ability to read construction plans and specifications

Team player with a jump-in-the-ditch attitude

Thorough knowledge of construction technology, equipment and methods
